Netflix has finally released the trailer for their upcoming live-action series of “Cowboy Bebop” which will premiere globally on November 19th. The show, which stars John Cho (“Star Trek”, “The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas”) alongside Mustafa Shakir (“Luke Cage”) and Daniella Pineda (“The Vampire Diaries”), is made up of 10 episodes and follows a team of space cowboys hunting bounties while trying to run away from their pasts. The original 1998 animated series has also recently been added to Netflix globally.
COWBOY BEBOP is an action-packed space Western about three bounty hunters, aka “cowboys,” all trying to outrun the past. As different as they are deadly, Spike Spiegel (John Cho), Jet Black (Mustafa Shakir), and Faye Valentine (Daniella Pineda) form a scrappy, snarky crew ready to hunt down the solar system’s most dangerous criminals — for the right price. But they can only kick and quip their way out of so many scuffles before their pasts finally catch up with them.
The original anime director Shinichiro Watanabe has acted as consultant for the series and an original score has been composed by icon Yoko Kanno. You can see the new trailer as well as the previous teaser.
