See the Trailer for Kevin Hart Drama “Fatherhood” – Coming to Netflix Globally on Father’s Day Weekend

Netflix has released the trailer for Sony Pictures and Higher Ground Productions’ “Fatherhood” and will premier the drama on June 18th. The film is co-produced by Kevin Hart (“Jumanji”, “The Upside”) who also stars in it alongside Academy Award Nominee Alfre Woodard (“Juanita”), Lil Rel Howery (“Bad Trip”), DeWanda Wise (“Someone Great”), Emmy Award Nominee Anthony Carrigan (“Gotham”), Melody Hurd (“Them”) and Golden Globe Nominee Paul Reiser (“Mad About You”). Paul Weitz (“About a Boy”, “Mozart in The Jungle”) directs.

“Fatherhood” is based on the book “Two Kisses for Maddy: A Memoir of Loss & Love” by Matthew Logelin, and is described as a heartwarming, funny, and emotional true story which sees Kevin Hart, in his first dramatic role, take on the toughest job in the world: Fatherhood.

A father brings up his baby girl as a single dad after the unexpected death of his wife who died a day after their daughter’s birth.

It was recently announced that Kevin Hart’s HartBeat Production had formed a multiyear deal with Netflix – however this film is not part of the deal and was arranged separately.
