Stranger Things 4 Officially Confirmed – We’re Not in Hawkins Anymore…

Following on from yesterday’s news post about the cryptic tweet about Stranger Things, we now have confirmation that the series has been renewed for a 4th season. Netflix has released a short video on their official twitter account (see below) that shows the Stranger Things 4 logo in the Upside Down deteriorating with a closing line of “We’re not in Hawkins anymore”. Ominous stuff indeed…

The series has been a smash hit for Netflix since it’s release in 2016 and has propelled the careers of its stars including Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard and more. The previous season, “Stranger Things 3”, introduced a new location to the series in the Starcourt Mall as well as showing us a great deal about Russia’s involvement. Perhaps Stranger Things 4 will be set in Russia rather than Hawkins? Or maybe, judging by the teaser, the series will be set solely in the Upside Down.
