Netflix are bringing “Minecraft: Story Mode” to their streaming service later this year which should please plenty of young gamers around the globe. However, Netflix are not getting into games, as such, so it is likely to be a cut down version of the interactive shows we’ve seen with “Stretch Armstrong: The Breakout” and “Puss in Book: Trapped in an Epic Tale” which work like the old Choose Your Own Adventure books.
We can confirm Minecraft: Story Mode is a licensed 5-episode interactive narrative series coming to our service this fall. It’s an extension of our other interactive stories we have on our service like Stretch Armstrong: The Breakout, Puss in Book: Trapped in an Epic Tale and Buddy Thunderstruck: The Maybe Pile.

It has also been confirmed that Netflix has licensed Stranger Things to TellTale Games for a future gaming project (not on Netflix’s streaming service).
