The Best New Additions on Netflix in America This Week (22nd January 2021)

If you want to know what to watch this weekend then we’re here to give you the lowdown on this week’s biggest and best additions on Netflix USA. Here we will give you our top picks as well as a full list of everything added to the streaming service in the last week. So here are our top picks from this week’s additions on Netflix USA:

As we’ve just got through the mid-month slump there aren’t many new additions to tell you about this week – but that doesn’t mean there isn’t anything to watch. A popular film this week is the period drama Radium Girls – when workers start falling ill in a radium factory, Bessie and her co-workers set out to expose a corporate cover-up. In the supernatural horror Death of Me follows a couple on vacation who have no memory of the previous night, but find a video of one of them killing the other… In the thriller Sightless a former violinist becomes suspicious of the new people in her life and their alarming behavior as she recovers from an assault that left her blind. The White Tiger, based on the bestselling novel, is a crime drama about an Indian driver for a rich family who uses his wit and cunning to break free of poverty and become an entrepreneur – whatever it takes.

Other movies worth mentioning this week include the British gangster film CALM WITH HORSES, the emotional fantasy/drama A Monster Calls and the action-packed Homefront starring Jason Statham.

For TV this week we have a new live-action Winx series has also been added this week based on the anime series. Fate: The Winx Saga follows a group of teens who must navigate rivalry, romance and supernatural studies at Alfea, a magical boarding school. Season 4 of French comedy-drama Call My Agent! has been added and continues with the stories of the Paris talent agency struggling to keep their clients and the stars happy. And finally for TV we have the return of Blown Away – a competition show about glass blowing; and the action-packed anime series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.

There’s just the one documentary this week which is a new Netflix series, Spycraft, which looks at how the tools and technology in world of spying have developed over the years and how they are just as important as the spies themselves.

For the younger viewers this week we have season 4 of Hello Ninja and season 2 of Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous.
