Here we will give you our top picks as well as a full list of everything added to Netflix in the UK in the last week. So here are our top picks from this week’s additions on Netflix UK:

It’s been another quiet quiet week this week with 26 new additions but there’s still a good selection to choose from. The top film this week is a new Netflix Original starring Anthony Mackie. Outside the Wire is an action-packed sci-fi film set in the near future and tells the story of a drone pilot sent into a war zone that gets paired with a top-secret android officer on a mission to stop a nuclear attack. Other action films this week include the video-game based Assassin’s Creed a man on death row gets taken by a secret organisation where he trains as an assassin for the secret Templar society. We also have 2008’s Rambo where Sylvester Stallone reprises his role as the titular hero who comes out of retirement to save some missionaries in Burma.

In the comedy film Instant Family a couple adopt three longtime foster siblings but they are anything but a family… Sputnik is a Russian sci-fi horror about a Soviet cosmonaut who returns to Earth only to find that he has brought something ominous back with him. Irish crime drama Broken Law tells the story of a dedicated police officer who must choose between family and the law when his jailed brother puts him in a compromising position. In the Brazilian film Double Dad a teenager, who lives on a hippie commune, sneaks away in search of her real dad – but ends up finding two.

For TV this week we have seasons 1-5 of American sitcom Superstore – set in St. Louis, a group of employees with larger-than-life personalities put up with customers, day-to-day duties and each other. Part 3 of Matt Groening’s adult animated series Disenchantment has arrived and continues the tales of dysfunctional Princess Bean and her demon and elf friends. Two British series have been added this week that have been very popular additions. The first is BBC series Informer about an arrested man who gets pressured to work for a pair of shady police officers as an informant in order to protect his family. The second is ITV series Cheat about an ambitious university professor who accuses an entitled student of cheating on an essay which then triggers a test of wills with deadly consequences. We also have series 5 of Channel 4’s Gogglebox and a new reality show about the lives of LA’s Asian and Asian American party population in Bling Empire.

For documentaries we have a new true crime limited series Night Stalker: The Hunt for a Serial Killer which has detectives, survivors and relatives discussing a serial killer that targeted and terrified Los Angeles in the early 1980s. We also have Crack: Cocaine, Corruption & Conspiracy which explored the complex history of crack in the 1980s.

For children and younger viewers we have season 4 of Netflix series Carmen Sandiego as well as Pinkfong & Baby Shark’s Space Adventure.
