Here we will give you our top picks as well as a full list of everything added to Netflix in the UK in the last week. So here are our top picks from this week’s additions on Netflix UK:

The most popular film addition this week has been the British horror The Descent where a caving expedition goes horribly wrong, as the explorers become trapped and ultimately pursued by a strange breed of predators. Sports drama Rush is set in the sexy, glamorous golden age of Formula 1 racing in the 1970s, the film is based on the true story of a great sporting rivalry between handsome English playboy James Hunt , and his methodical, brilliant opponent, Austrian driver Niki Lauda; and follows their distinctly different personal styles on and off the track, their loves and the astonishing 1976 season in which both drivers were willing to risk everything to become world champion in a sport with no margin for error: if you make a mistake, you die. In the courtroom drama A Few Good Men a Navy lawyer who has never seen the inside of the courtroom, defends two stubborn Marines who have been accused of murdering a colleague; during which he uncovers a hazing ritual that may implicate high-ranking officials. In the 3rd and final part of the horror trilogy Fear Street Part 3: 1666 Deena is thrust back to 1666 where she learns the truth about Sarah Fier, whilst back in 1994, the friends fight for their lives – and Shadyside’s future. In the Italian suspense A Classic Horror Story strangers traveling in southern Italy become stranded in the woods, where they must fight desperately to get out alive. In the comedy Good Boys three 6th grade boys ditch school and embark on an epic journey while carrying accidentally stolen drugs, being hunted by teenage girls, and trying to make their way home in time for a long-awaited party. Finally for films this week we have Day of Destiny which sees two teen brothers seize an opportunity to reverse their bad fortunes by traveling 20 years back in time.

For TV on Netflix UK we have the anime BEASTARS which is set in a world of anthropomorphic animals, and sees a reclusive wolf’s complicated relationship with a kindly rabbit tested by a classmate’s murder, a charismatic deer’s influence, and his own burgeoning predatory instincts. The reality series My Unorthodox Life follows the personal and professional life of fashion mogul Julia Haart – former member of an ultra-Orthodox Jewish community turned CEO of Elite World Group. Also added this week were Never Have I Ever season 2 and  Van Helsing season 5.

For documentaries this week we have Explained a weekly series that digs into a wide range of topics such as the rise of cryptocurrency, why diets fail, and the wild world of K-pop. Heist looks at how ordinary people almost get away with extraordinary heists. Naomi Osaka is an intimate series which follows Naomi Osaka as she explores her cultural roots and navigates her multifaceted identity as a tennis champ and rising leader. In Outback Lockdown Hollywood stuntwoman Ky and British chef Calem isolate together in the Australian Outback to see if they can live off the land. The Tour sees Miloš Knor take comedians Lukáš Pavlásek, Tomáš Matonoha, Ester Kočičková, Michal Kavalčík and Richard Nedvěd on a tour around the Czech Republic. Private Network: Who Killed Manuel Buendía? takes a deep dive into the work of renowned Mexican journalist Manuel Buendía and looks to unravel his murder and the ties between politics and drug trafficking. In Of Fathers and Sons Talal Derki returns to his homeland where he gains the trust of a radical Islamist family, sharing their daily life for over two years. Lift Like a Girl follows a teen weightlifter as she emerges from a scrappy training camp in Egypt to compete at the championship level. Finally for documentaries we have Emicida: AmarElo – Live in São Paulo where Brazilian rapper Emicida performs hits from the album “AmarElo” live at São Paulo’s Theatro Municipal.

For kids and families this week we have Fantastic Mr. Fox an animated adaptation of Roald Dahl’s book of the same name.  In the Shaun the Sheep Movie Shaun decides to take the day off and have some fun, but he gets a little more action than he bargained for. A mix up with the Farmer, a caravan and a very steep hill lead them all to the Big City and it’s up to Shaun and the flock to return everyone safely to the green grass of home. Chicken Run sees Rocky the rooster and Ginger the hen lead their fellow chickens in a great escape from the farm where they are being held captive. Horrid Henry follows the antics of Henry a headstrong boy who is skilled at making trouble in any situation, from babysitting pets in his bedroom to starting a shark panic at the swimming pool. Johnny Test tells of the adventures of an average suburban boy Johnny Test, who wittingly plays test subject for his genius twin sisters’ various experiments, reluctantly fighting evil villains in the process. Peppa Pig tells stories of the playful pig Peppa and her little brother George. Finally for this week we have Ridley Jones where curious kid Ridley and her friends protect the Museum of Natural History’s treasures and keep its magical secret safe: Everything comes alive at night!
