If you want to know what to watch this weekend then we’re here to give you the lowdown on this week’s biggest and best film, TV and documentary additions on Netflix UK. Here we will give you our top picks as well as a full list of everything added to Netflix in the UK in the last week. So here are our top picks from this week’s additions on Netflix UK:

It’s been a fairly quiet week this week as we approach the end of the month so let’s see what films have been added. One of the top movies added this week is Tomb Raider – based on the popular video game, the film sees Lara Croft heading out on a quest to discover her missing father’s fate using the clues he left behind. Netflix animated film The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf is a prequel to the popular series which tells the story of Vesemir who slays monsters for coin and glory, but when a new menace rises, he must face the demons of his past. In the thriller Fear of Rain a girl living with early-onset schizophrenia must discern what is real or not when she suspects that her neighbor has kidnapped a child.

After recently getting the entire series of Downton Abbey, we now have the feature length Downton Abbey from 2019. The film continues the story of the Crawley family as they prepare for a royal visit. Boomika is an Indian horror film about a team ready to redevelop a lush, abandoned property who are alarmed by the paranormal activity – but the eerie events may not be as unearthly as they think. Other films worth a mention this week include the period drama Suffragette and the gender-swapped remake He’s All That.

The most popular TV addition this week has been season 11 of adult animation Archer. The series follows the suave, sophisticated spy who may have the coolest gadgets, but he still has issues when it comes to dealing with his boss, who is also his mother. Clickbait is a new limited series that sees a family man abducted and his ransom video put online – but with a sinister twist – and his family and friends must work out who is behind it all. If you enjoy Gogglebox then you may enjoy the spin-off series Gogglesprogs which sees children giving their opinion on a range of TV shows. Norwegian series Post Mortem: No One Dies in Skarnes is a dark comedy about a woman who mysteriously returns from the dead with a thirst for blood and decides to use her new talent to boost her family’s mortuary business. Finally for TV this week we have Motel Makeover which follows a pair of friends as they purchase and completely renovate a Motel – during the middle of a global pandemic.

We have a few documentaries this week that may be of interest to some subscribers. First we have the musical Count Me In which features some of rock’s greatest drummers as they come together in an inspiring rhythmic journey about the power of human connection. Bob Ross: Happy Accidents, Betrayal & Greed tells the story of the world’s most famous art instructor and the battle for his business empire which cast a shadow over his happy trees. Finally for documentaries this week we have a Brazilian series John of God: The Crimes of a Spiritual Healer about the medium João Teixeira de Faria who rose to international fame before horrifying abuse was revealed by survivors, prosecutors and the press.

And finally for this week we have a couple of new kids shows: first up is Part 4 of the comedy series Family Reunion; and then secondly we have I Heart Arlo which follows on from the Arlo The Alligator Boy film.
