The “Stranger Things” Video Game Arrives July 4th on All Major Platforms

After the collapse of computer game developer TellTale Games the future of Stranger Things as a video game was uncertain even though, at the time, Netflix stated “We are in the process of evaluating other options for bringing the ‘Stranger Things’ universe to life in an interactive medium.”

It was later announced that Texan company BonusXP, who made the mobile game based on Season 2, would be creating the game based on Season 3 of the hit show. The game is due to be released on July 4th (to coincide with the new season) on all platforms to coincide with the expected release date of the show. “Stranger Things 3: The Game” is described as “arcade style beat-em-up, as you collect coins before fleeing into an actual arcade.”
