Not only has “The Witcher” just been renewed for its third season, Netflix has also announced a second anime film as well as a kids and family series set in the Witcher universe! The first anime film, The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf, was released in August and shared the origin story of Geralt’s mentor Vesemir. While we currently have no further information about the second animated film or the family series it’s exciting to see the universe being expanded into a range of shows and films. We’ll share any news once we have it.

The Witcher is based on the best-selling fantasy series of the same name by Andrzej Sapkowski and is an epic tale of fate and family. Geralt of Rivia, a solitary monster hunter, struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than beasts. But when destiny hurtles him toward a powerful sorceress, and a young princess with a dangerous secret, the three must learn to navigate the increasingly volatile Continent together.
