This Week’s New Releases on Netflix UK (16th February 2018)

Another week has passed and, in case you missed our social media feeds, we’re here to give you the run down on this week’s additions just in time for your weekend binge sessions. Here we will give you our top picks as well as a full list of everything added to the streaming service in the last week. So without further ado let’s see what we have for this week:

This week has been a good week for Anime fans with a number of great new additions and series updates. Fate/stay nightSword Art Online the Movie: Ordinal Scale, season 2 of Tokyo Ghoul along with Tokyo Ghoul: Jack and Tokyo Ghoul: Pinto.

Some of the big movies to arrive this week have been Seth Rogen’s The Interview has returned and sees a US TV Host heading to Korea to interview Kim Jong-Un only to be asked by the CIA to assassinate the leader. David Brent: Life on the Road has, for some reason, been popular on our social media this week and follows the star of The Office as he takes his music on the road. If you’re a fan (or not) of Ricky Gervais then you’ll likely know what to expect from him in this film.

Comic book movies are huge at the moment and Guillermo del Toro‘s 2004 version of Hellboy has arrived this week on Netflix UK. The movie follows a demon who is put on earth by the Nazis but later rescued and grows up to defend the world from the dark forces.

Anyone who grew up in the 90’s will love to see the new Netflix Original series Everything Sucks! which is based in a high school in a town called Boring where the AV club and drama club clash. Another Original is the movie Irreplaceable You – a tear-jerking movie following a couple after a terminal diagnosis as they plan for their future.

For the younger viewers this week we have the squeaky-voiced Fred in Fred 3: Camp Fred. In his 3rd movie, Fred is excited for his Summer camp but is mortified when he finds out his mum signed him up to the wrong camp and he has to go to Camp Iwannapeepee. There is also Snoopy and Charlie Brown: The Peanuts Movie which has been a big hit with young and old alike.
