This Week’s New Releases on Netflix UK (27th July 2018)

Another week has passed and, in case you missed our social media feeds, we’re here to give you the run down on this week’s additions just in time for your weekend binge sessions. Here we will give you our top picks as well as a full list of everything added to the streaming service in the last week. So here are our top picks from this week’s additions on Netflix UK:

It’s been another quiet week for additions on Netflix UK but as the saying goes it’s quality, not quantity that counts and there have been some quality additions.

Firstly for those of you that enjoy foreign films, there have been a lot of Thai additions this week, including The Iron Ladies [Satree lek]The Iron Ladies 2 [Satree lek 2], Which are comedies based on a true story of a volleyball team made up of gay and transgender players. And Train of the Dead [Chum thaang rot fai phii] in which five teenagers on the lam hide out in an empty train. Little do they realize that the train is inhabited by ghosts on their way to final judgment.

Some of the popular additions with our social media users this week have the documentaries The Bleeding Edge a Netflix original which takes a look at the fast-growing medical device industry reveals how the rush to innovate can lead to devastating consequences for patients. And The Devil and Father Amorth where “Exorcist” director William Friedkin follows a 91-year-old priest who performs a real demonic exorcism on a woman from a small Italian town. Also popular this week has been the release of season 6 of the Netflix original Orange Is the New Black, where we will find out what prison life is like after the riot. Finally, for the popular additions, we have Breathe A true life story about disability advocate Robin Cavendish.

For the smaller fans of Netflix UK this week we have Cupcake & Dino – General Services, a cartoon about an enterprising cupcake and his cheerful dinosaur brother take on jobs of all sorts as they work to help friends and strangers in their eccentric city, also added was Floogals a CGI series about three tiny aliens trying to learn about everyday human objects. Finally for the preteens in your life there is Waterschool which follows six young women, who each live near one of Earth’s major rivers, as they share how the Waterschool environmental education program has impacted their lives.
