Trailer: Madeleine McCann True Crime Series Arrives Tomorrow – Only on Netflix

“The Disappearance of Madeleine McCann”, an 8-episode true-crime documentary series about Madeleine McCann, is coming to Netflix tomorrow (March 15th) and you can see the trailer now. The case, one of the UK’s most well-known, and controversial, missing persons case will feature interviews with investigators and key people related to the case. Parents Kate and Gerry McCann have both refused to have any involvement the show stating that it is because it’s still an active police investigation.

It was a disappearance that reverberated across the world as the Portuguese police together with Scotland Yard mobilised a major investigation which would go on to become the most high-profile missing child case in British history.

By blending new interviews with more than 40 contributors, 120 hour of interviews, archival news footage and reenactments, The Disappearance of Madeleine McCann goes beyond the headlines and takes a unique look at the facts of the case as well as its impact on media standards around the world.

Directed by Chris Smith (Fyre: The Greatest Party that Never Happened; Jim & Andy), executive produced by Emma Cooper and produced by UK-based Pulse Films in association with Paramount Television, the series has access to never-before-heard testimonies from those at the heart of the story including friends of the McCann family, investigators working the case and from those who became the subject of media speculation and rumour.

  1. This trailer gave me chills and goosebumps. I truly hope that this documentary will do for this case as Making A Murderer has done for the Steven Avery case… the truth needs to be found as well as Madeleine herself… someone knows and is keeping quiet… that has to end…
