Netflix’s family adventure film “We Can Be Heroes”, which arrives January 1st, now has a full trailer. The film is written, produced and directed by Rodriguez (“Spy Kids”) and features Sharkboy, Lavagirl and their child, Guppy. The film is described as a new take on the super hero genre and was shot in Texas. When alien invaders that kidnap Earth’s superheroes, their children must team up and learn to work together if they want to save their parents and the world.
Taylor Dooley will reprise her original role as Lavagirl with JJ Dashnaw, a stuntman from “Spy Kids 3: Game Over”, taking over the role Sharkboy. Vivien Blair, who played ‘Girl’ in “Bird Box”, plays their daughter Guppy who can be seen riding her dad in the images below.
