Netflix has released the trailer for season 2 of their heartfelt and hilarious comedy series “Bonding” which arrives on January 27th. The series premiered in April 2019 and stars Brendan Scannell (“Heathers”), Zoe Levin (“Red Band Society”) and D’Arcy Carden (“The Good Place”). The show follows what happens when a gay man reconnects with his former BFF only to discover she’s now one of New York City’s top dominatrixes – the answer? Lots of “Bonding”!
In season 2 best friends Tiff and Pete are totally broke and banned from every dungeon in New York City. So they must work to rebuild their reputations in the BDSM community.
Bonding centers on the relationship between former high-school BFFs, Pete, a recently out gay man, and Tiff, a grad student and secretly one of New York City’s top dominatrixes, who reconnect in an unexpected way years later. The dark comedy is loosely based on the life experiences of Rightor Doyle (Barry, You’re the Worst, Nerve), who serves as writer, director, showrunner, and executive producer.
