Netflix has chosen not to renew their Original animated series “Tuca and Bertie” from the team behind “BoJack Horseman”. The 10-episode series launched in May 2019 starring Ali Wong and Tiffany Haddish and is a comedy about the friendship between two 30-year-old bird women who live in the same apartment building. Lisa Hanawalt, who created the show, has announced on Twitter that Netflix are not ordering a second series and that they are looking to find a new home for the show.

Thank you to everyone who loves and supports T&B, and to everyone who was comforted and felt like this show gave you a voice. I’m hopeful we can find a home for Tuca & Bertie to continue their adventures. #TucaandBertie pic.twitter.com/xmrAV7Ooyq
