Welcome To The Jungle: Netflix Announces it’s First All-Colombian Series

Netflix have announced their first All-Colombian Original Series which is set to start filming Summer 2018 with a 2019 release date. The show, executive produced by Oscar nominated Ciro Guerra, will be filmed in 4K and consist of eight 1hr episodes. The series will be produced by Diego Ramirez and Dynamo (“Narcos”, “El Chapo”) and written by Carlos Contreras (“El Chapo”, “I Dream in Another Language”).

The show will follow a young detective and her partner deep into the Amazon, on the border of Brazil and Colombia, to investigate a series of bizarre murders. They soon realize that there’s more mystery to the jungle than the deaths, as they encounter an enigmatic indigenous tribe with an incredible secret that they will take great risks to protect.
