What’s Coming to Netflix UK in June 2018

Welcome back to another update of what’s New On Netflix UK for the month of May. Here, with the help of The Mirror and Vodzilla, we will give you the rundown of what new films and TV shows will be added next month. As well as all the global Netflix Originals we post about separately there are a lot of great shows and films on their way – so let’s jump straight to our top picks for new additions to Netflix UK in June.

Top Picks: New Netflix Originals on Netflix UK for June

We post weekly about the different Netflix Originals but this month there are still a few worth mentioning with regards to new seasons. The obvious one is the series finale of Sense8 (Jun 8th) which brings the whole story to a close after it’s untimely 2 season run. There is also the earlier than expected second-season return of both Queer Eye (Jun 15th) and Nailed It! (Jun 29th). There are more second seasons being added too with Marvel’s Luke Cage (Jun 22nd) and GLOW (Jun 29th) as well as season 6 of animated series Voltron: Legendary Defender (Jun 15th).

Top Picks: New Movies on Netflix UK for June

There’s an interesting mixture of new movie additions for June and my top pick, for it’s sheer absurdity and crudeness, is Sausage Party (Jun 26th) starring the voice talents of Seth Rogen and Kristen Wiig as hot dogs dreaming of the day they get purchased by a customer – it’s fun, it’s ridiculous and it’s very rude. Next up is the 2016 remake of Ghostbusters (Jun 7th) – with a new team of female Ghostbusters it does it’s own thing with the classic supernatural comedy. Horror fans will appreciate the 2017 Texas Chainsaw Massacre prequel Leatherface (Jun 18th) as well as the fairly entertaining Stephen King’s Sleepwalkers (Jun 15th). For the sci-fi and fantasy fixes this month there is Warcraft (Jun 10th) and Star Trek Beyond (Jun 21st).

Top Picks: New TV on Netflix UK for June

There are lots of BBC shows coming to Netflix UK in June including the season 10 of Doctor Who (Jun 25th), the Doctor Who spin-off Class (Jun 3rd), the amazing natural history series Planet Earth II (Jun 11th) and season 6 of the ever-popular Call the Midwife (Jun 25th). Along with various NOVA documentary shows (Jun 1st) and Derren Brown: Miracle (Jun 22nd) – June is a great month for TV.

Top Picks: New Kids’ Stuff on Netflix UK for June

For the younger viewers there is Moshi Monsters: The Movie (Jun 14th) as well as the return of the wolf-themed animation Alpha and Omega (Jun 7th). A new Netflix Original series called The Hollow (Jun 8th) which sees a group of teens heading through mysterious portals and meeting vicious beasts will be added along with season 1 of Dinosaur King (Jun 2nd). For the really young ones there are two new Netflix series True: Magical Friends (Jun 15th) and True: Wonderful Wishes (Jun 15th).

  1. New On Netflix UK i do watch some of it but lately been overload and seasons which they have shown and left with ending up in the air not aired and no sign of further seasons. As for Indian stuff not much else to watch so yep we are being sometimes forced. Netflix should be for all across the board, all nations, all countries and all ages that is why subscriptions are paid.
