Top Picks: New Originals on Netflix UK for May 2019

With over 60 new Netflix Originals coming in May it’s certainly a busy month – and also hard to filter it down to a handful of top picks. The documentary Knock Down The House (1st May) is also worth a watch and follows a number of women running in the American Mid-Term elections. And to finish off the films, Rim of the World (24th May) sees a group of campers fending off an alien invasion.

For Original TV there are a number of new series including new adult animation Tuca & Bertie (3rd May); season 1 of The Society (10th May) – a modern day retelling of Lord of The Flies; new weekly episodes of Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj (12th May); the third and final season of the anthology series Easy (10th May); How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast) (31st May) – a new dark comedy about a teenager who becomes a huge drug-lord; more baking fails in season 3 of Nailed It! 1. Wow thin on ground for licence content,no good blockbuster movies, loads original content which dont look interesting, roll on Disney plus.

  2. Is IZombie not airing its final season on Netflix UK anymore? I hope this is updated soon as i want to see this more than Game of Thrones

  3. I keep watching for your updates on the list above, I wish there was some thing good to watch, I know not your fault , just keep hoping for some good to watch as this month is rubbish.

  4. May 15th, and still no new episodes of Horrid Henry series 5 although it says it on the banner, and advertised on here. Where are they, there are still only 11 in series 5 as it has been since the beginning of the year?

      1. Yes, same 11 episodes. My 11yo step son watches HH every morning and knows each one word for word. He suffers from ASD and got very upset after seeing ‘New episodes’ on the HH banner on the home page, only then to find the same 11 on S5. They added 6 new episodes around the beginning of the year to series 5, but that’s it. Series 1-4 contain 26 episodes in each, we were expecting at least another 6 or so on S5, but nothing.

  5. Only 3 days late, but another 10 episodes have just been added to Horrid Henrys series 5 today. That will keep the youngster happy, (and me) 🙂
